Responsible gaming
Betting should stay a form of entertainment you can afford. This page explains the tools in your account that help you keep control, and where to find free, confidential help in Belgium.
01Keeping betting in proportion
Decide in advance how much money and time you are willing to spend, and treat that money as the cost of entertainment rather than a way to earn. Losing is a normal part of betting, and trying to win back losses usually makes them bigger.
- Bet only with money you can afford to lose, never with money meant for rent, bills or food.
- Take regular breaks and avoid betting when you are tired, upset or have been drinking.
- Keep betting separate from the rest of your finances, and check your transactions regularly.
02Deposit and loss limits
In Limits & breaks you can set a deposit limit and a loss limit, each per day, per week or per month. Once a limit is reached, further deposits or bets are blocked until the period resets.
Lowering a limit applies immediately. Raising or removing a limit only takes effect after 7 days, and your current limit stays in place until then. You can cancel a pending change during that time.
We ask for your password again before any change to a limit is saved.
03Session reminders
A session reminder (reality check) tells you how long you have been on the site. You can choose an interval of 30 minutes, 1 hour, 1 hour 30, 2 hours or 3 hours.
When the interval is reached, a message on screen tells you how many minutes you have been betting. Use it as a moment to check your bet history and decide whether to stop for today.
04Take a break
If you want a pause from betting, you can take a break of 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or 6 weeks. A break cannot be lifted early, so choose the length carefully.
During a break you can still log in, see your history and withdraw your balance. Betting and deposits are paused, and we send you no marketing.
05Self-exclusion
Self-exclusion is for when you want to stop for longer. You can exclude yourself from litesports.be for 6 months, 1 year, 3 years or 5 years. A self-exclusion cannot be lifted early, even if you ask.
During self-exclusion you cannot bet or deposit, and we send no marketing. You can still withdraw your remaining balance.
To exclude yourself from all licensed gambling in Belgium, not only from our site, you can register with EPIS, the national exclusion register managed by the Belgian Gaming Commission. People on the EPIS register cannot open an account with any licensed Belgian operator.
06Warning signs
Betting may be becoming a problem if some of the following sound familiar:
- You spend more money or time on betting than you planned.
- You bet again to win back money you have lost.
- You borrow money, sell things or skip bills to keep betting.
- You hide how much you bet from family or friends.
- You feel restless, anxious or irritable when you are not betting.
- Betting is affecting your work, studies, sleep or relationships.
- You have tried to cut down and found it hard.
If you recognise one or more of these signs, consider a break or self-exclusion and talk to one of the help services below. Talking early makes a difference.
07Where to get help

08Protecting minors
Betting on litesports.be is only for adults aged 18 or over. We confirm your age and identity before your first bet, and accounts that fail the check cannot bet.
If children use the same device, sign out after each session, do not save your password in the browser and consider parental control software. If you believe a minor is using an account, contact support@litesports.be and we will act on it.
