Betting rules

These rules explain how bets are accepted, priced and settled on litesports.be. General rules come first, followed by the specific rules for each of the 12 sports we offer.

01When a bet is accepted

A bet exists only once we have accepted it. After you confirm the bet slip, our server checks your balance, your limits, the market status and the current price, and then either accepts or rejects the bet. An accepted bet receives a bet number in the format LS-XXXXXXX and appears with the status Open in your bet history.

Each bet must be between €1.00 and €1,000.00. The maximum payout per bet is €100,000. If a bet would return more than that, the payout is limited to €100,000.

If you tap confirm twice, or your connection retries the request, the same request never creates two bets. You can check the result in My bets at any time.

Only adults aged 18 or over who live in Belgium, whose age and identity we have verified, can place bets. Bets are not accepted while a break or self-exclusion is active. See the terms and conditions for the full account rules.

02Prices and price changes

Prices are shown in decimal format by default. You can switch to fractional or American odds in the bet slip; the format changes how a price is displayed, not its value.

Prices can move between the moment you add a selection and the moment you confirm. If a price drops, the slip shows the old price next to the new one and the bet is not placed until you confirm the new price. A worse price is never accepted without your consent.

If a price rises, the slip can accept the higher price automatically. This setting is on by default and you can switch it off in the bet slip, in which case you confirm every change yourself.

03Suspended markets

A market can be suspended for a short time, for example after a goal, a break of serve or during a video review. Suspended prices stay visible but are greyed out with a lock symbol, and they cannot be selected or confirmed.

Suspended markets reopen automatically once the situation is clear, usually with updated prices. If a selection in your slip is suspended at the moment you confirm, the bet is not placed and the slip tells you which selection is affected.

04Singles and multiples

A single is one stake on one selection; your potential return is the stake multiplied by the price. A multiple (accumulator) combines selections from different matches into one bet. The prices are multiplied together and every selection must win.

  • Only one selection per match is allowed in a multiple, because outcomes from the same match are related.
  • A multiple can contain between 2 and 12 selections.
  • If one selection loses, the whole multiple loses, even if other selections are still to be played.
  • If a selection is void, it counts at odds of 1.00 and the multiple continues with the remaining selections.
  • If every selection is void, the stake is returned.

05How bets are settled

Bets are settled on the official result of the event as published by the governing body or organiser, as at the end of the period the market covers. Later changes to the result, such as disqualifications or appeals decided after the event, do not affect settlement unless the market says otherwise.

A settled bet takes one of four statuses: open (not yet settled), won, lost or void. Winnings are credited to your balance as soon as the bet is settled.

If a result is settled incorrectly, for example because of a data error, we correct the settlement and adjust your balance. We tell you what changed and why.

06Void bets and abandoned events

A void bet is treated as if it had never been placed: a single is refunded in full, and a void selection in a multiple counts at odds of 1.00.

If an event does not start within 24 hours of its scheduled start time, bets on it are void. If an event is abandoned after it has started, bets on markets that are not yet decided are void. Markets whose outcome was already decided before the abandonment are settled on that outcome.

07Live (in-play) betting

Live betting lets you bet while an event is in progress. Scores and prices refresh every few seconds, and markets are suspended briefly when something important happens on the field.

If your live connection drops, the page shows the last confirmed state of the match. Bets are only ever accepted at the current prices held on our server, so a bet placed from an outdated screen is checked against the live price and handled under the price-change rules above.

Live scores are provided for information. Settlement always follows the official result, not the score shown on the page.

08Obvious errors

Occasionally a price or market is published with a clear mistake, such as a price that is plainly wrong compared with the market, the wrong start time, or teams in the wrong order. In these cases we may void the affected bets and refund the stake.

We do not use this rule to cancel bets simply because a result went against us. When we void a bet for an obvious error, we tell you which bet was affected and why.

09Questions and disputes

If you disagree with how a bet was accepted or settled, contact us first through the support form or at support@litesports.be. Please include the bet number (LS-XXXXXXX) so we can find it quickly.

We answer every complaint within 14 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can take the matter to the Belgian Gaming Commission (Kansspelcommissie).

10Football

  • Markets are settled on regular time: 90 minutes plus stoppage time, unless the market name says otherwise.
  • Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are not included in regular-time markets.
  • If a match is abandoned before full time, bets are void unless the outcome is already decided. For example, first-half markets are settled if the first half was completed.
  • “Win both halves” means the team must win the first half and the second half separately, each counted on its own score.

11Tennis

  • Match markets need the match to be completed.
  • If a player retires or there is a walkover, bets are void unless the market is already decided. For example, a bet on the first set winner stands if the first set was completed.
  • Set betting and total games markets need the full match to be played.

12Basketball

  • “Winner incl. overtime” includes any overtime played.
  • Handicap and total points markets also include overtime, unless the market says otherwise.
  • First-half markets are settled on the first half only and exclude overtime.

  • “Regular time result” is settled on 60 minutes of play, without overtime or a shootout.
  • “Winner incl. overtime” includes overtime and any shootout.
  • Total goals markets are settled on regular time unless the market says otherwise.

  • The match must be completed for bets to stand; otherwise bets on undecided markets are void.

17Darts

  • The match must be completed for bets to stand; otherwise bets on undecided markets are void.
  • Leg and set handicaps and totals are settled as stated in the market.
  • In “Most 180s”, a tie is a selection in its own right. If you backed one of the players and the count is level, the bet loses.

  • Frame handicaps and total frames markets are settled as stated in the market.

20Baseball

  • Winner and run line markets include extra innings.
  • At least 9 innings must be played, or 8.5 innings if the home team is leading, or bets are void unless the market is already decided.

21Cycling

  • Outright (race winner) and podium markets are settled on the official result at the time of the podium ceremony. Later changes are not taken into account.
  • Bets on riders who do not start the race are void.
  • In head-to-head markets both riders must start. The rider who finishes in the better position wins. If neither rider finishes, the bet is void.
