Cookie policy
litesports.be uses three cookies and a few browser storage entries. Most are needed for the site to work; preferences and analytics are used only if you agree.
01What cookies and browser storage are
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser and reads back on later visits. Browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) works in a similar way, but the data stays in your browser and is not sent to our server with every request.
We use both, and this page lists every entry by name so you can check them in your browser settings.
02Cookies we set
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ls_session | Necessary | Keeps you signed in. Marked HttpOnly, so scripts on the page cannot read it. | Session (ends when you close the browser) |
| age_ok | Necessary | Remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or over. | 1 year |
| cookie_consent | Necessary | Stores your cookie choice so we do not ask again on every page. | 180 days |
03Browser storage we use
| Name | Type | Category | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| ls_slip | localStorage | Necessary | Keeps the selections in your bet slip when you move between pages. |
| ls_favs | localStorage | Necessary | Saves your favourite matches and competitions when you are not signed in. |
| ls_odds | localStorage | Preferences (only with consent) | Remembers your chosen odds format: decimal, fractional or American. |
| ls_session_start | sessionStorage | Necessary | Times your session so the session reminder appears at the interval you chose. |
| ls_flash | sessionStorage | Necessary | Shows one-off messages, such as a confirmation after you change a setting. |
sessionStorage is cleared when you close the tab. localStorage stays until you clear it in your browser.
04Analytics
If you allow analytics, we count page views and bet slip errors so we can see which pages are used and where the slip goes wrong. No personal or financial data is included.
Nothing is shared with third parties for advertising, and we do not use advertising cookies. If you do not consent, analytics simply does not run.
05Changing your choice
You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page. Necessary cookies and storage cannot be switched off, because the site cannot keep you signed in or hold your bet slip without them.
If you withdraw consent for preferences, your odds format returns to decimal on your next visit.
06Clearing cookies in your browser
You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you delete ls_session you are signed out, and if you delete cookie_consent we ask for your choice again.
